Michael P. Bono has represented thousands of injured clients across Louisiana for over two decades, with the philosophy that every case matters and every client deserves personal attention. He handles car accidents, 18-wheeler and truck wrecks, e-bike and scooter accidents, dog bite/attack cases, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents, slip-and-fall cases, wrongful death claims, and uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM) disputes throughout Greater New Orleans.

Before joining the family firm in 2004, Michael practiced at one of the largest law firms in the South, defending insurance companies and corporations in injury cases. He now puts that experience to work for the other side: he knows how insurers evaluate claims, the tactics they use to pay less, and how to counter them. In the litigation that followed the 2010 BP oil spill, he recovered millions of dollars for businesses harmed by the disaster.

Clients work directly with Michael from the first call — not a screener or a case manager. He is available 24 hours a day through the firm's answering service, and he meets clients at home or in the hospital when they cannot travel. Michael also brings deep experience in Louisiana real estate and succession matters, a practice he has maintained alongside his injury work for longtime clients of the firm.

Michael earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2002 and a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1999. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Michael lives in Old Metairie with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, golfing, attending Saints games, and spending time with his family.
